Long-term memory issues with server

Currently the server stores no information itself. All persistent storage occurs through App.storage (and, additionally results are aggregated in App.aggregator). The persistent data stores keep information in memory and currently there are no mechanisms to clear stale data.
A long running server that stores data or aggregates results will eventually run out of memory. Luckily, both storage objects are encapsulated and alternate, smarter objects may be substituted.
